QUALIFICATIONS

My original introduction to the world of counselling began with training to become a FOCCUS Facilitator. FOCCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication Understanding and Study) is a programme for couples as they prepare for marriage. I worked in this position, and as a counsellor for several years with The Spark organisation.

My counselling qualifications include:

• COSCA Diploma in Counselling from Vital Connexions

• COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills

• University of Glasgow Certificate in Counselling Skills

All of my counselling training courses are accredited by COSCA (the professional body for counselling and psychotherapy in Scotland). 

I am a counsellor member of COSCA and adhere to their Code of Ethics as well as fulfilling their requirements of regular CPD and professional supervision. 

I am a counsellor on COSCA’s Register that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority. This is recognition of my commitment to high standards.
